This is the privacy and cookie statement of VODW Marketing & Management Consultants b.v., hereinafter referred to as VODW. In this statement, we explain how we deal with the privacy of all website visitors. By using this website, personal data may be provided by you to VODW. We place high value on the privacy of all website visitors and therefore take the greatest possible care in handling and protecting personal data. VODW processes data in accordance with the conditions set out in the General Data Protection Regulation. This statement applies to all information you provide to VODW.

If you leave any data on this website

VODW only stores and uses personal data that has been provided directly by you, or information of which it is clear that this has been made available for processing. Your data will not be used for purposes other than those described in this statement, or as would be logical for providing the best possible service.

This is how we handle your data

Your personal data will be processed by us for the execution of requests made by you, for relationship management, direct marketing purposes, employment mediation and job applications.  Based on the information in your profile, we can send you more information based on your interests.

Subscriptions to newsletters and contact form

Through the VODW newsletters you can stay informed about market developments and the services of VODW. You can subscribe to a newsletter using a form on the website. In our newsletters you can use a link to indicate which newsletters or messages you no longer want to receive. If you fill in a contact form on our website, the data you provide will be kept as long as necessary to be able to handle your message or e-mail fully and correctly. We may contact you for commercial purposes.

Job applications and placements

Personal data that you share with VODW for the purpose of a job application is only transparent for staff members who are involved in the job application process. If you are rejected as an applicant, the data relating to the application will be destroyed at the latest four weeks after the end of the procedure. In some cases, we may ask for your permission to extend the retention period for this data by up to 12 months.

If you are accepted by VODW, your personal data will be kept for the duration of the employment, extended by the statutory retention periods. If you are placed as an applicant with a VODW client, your personal data will be stored until 4 weeks after the end of the assignment; with your permission, the storage period of your personal data may be extended by 12 months.

Provision of information to third parties

We pass on the data provided by you to third parties if this is necessary for our business operations or if this is necessary for the provision of requested services. When we provide your data to a third party, we ensure (e.g. with a contract) that your data will not be used for other purposes. We also agree with the third party that your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required.

Furthermore, we will not provide the information you provide to other parties, unless required or permitted by law.


We handle your data with care. We have taken technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful processing. Think of measures to use our website and IT systems safely and to prevent abuse. Your data is transmitted via secure connections over the internet and in certified data centres and on VODW servers.


Cookies are small text files that are placed on a PC, tablet or mobile phone by a web page. VODW uses two types of cookies on its website;

  • Functional cookies that are necessary for the proper functioning of the website. In order to use these cookies, it is not necessary to ask your for permission.
  • We use Google Analytics. In accordance with the manual of the Personal Data Authority, VODW has opted for a privacy-friendly setting of Google Analytics. This means, among other things, that VODW has concluded an editor agreement with Google, the last octet of the IP address is masked and "data sharing" is disabled. Based on these settings, the use of these cookies does not require your consent.
  • Analytical cookies that are required to analyze the use of the website. These cookies combine your IP address and the information you leave on this website.

If you wish to delete the data stored on your computer by means of cookies, you can do via your browser settings.

Sharing on social media 

Various pages of the VODW website contain buttons with which information from VODW can be shared via the social networks Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. The buttons with which the information can be shared are realized by code provided by Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter itself. If you share the information with us at the touch of a button, a cookie will be placed by the company concerned. VODW has no influence on this.

Personal Data Authority

Of course we will be happy to help you if you have any complaints about the processing of your personal data. Should you nevertheless not come to an agreement with us, you also have the right, pursuant to privacy legislation, to submit a complaint to the privacy regulator, the Personal Data Authority. You may contact the Personal Data Authority for this purpose.


From time to time, VODW makes changes to its privacy policy. We reserve the right to change our privacy policy and recommend that you regularly review this privacy policy when relevant to you, so that you are kept informed of any changes.

Access to and revision of your data

Upon request, we may remove your company or personal information from our databases and software applications. If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy policy, or if you would like to access, change or have your personal data deleted, please contact us.
